As I look around during this uprooting time in history, I notice the mystery of grief is ever present.
People all around are losing jobs and loved ones and all of us have to adjust to a new “normal”.
These changes are certainly not welcome, and yet, the changes are necessary. Deep in the crevices of these changes are grief.
Grief does not occur in a linear path but rather a back and forth, a pull and progression between denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
Having experienced profound grief early in life, I can say that grief brings growth and strength, if we let it.
I want to encourage everyone to not give up hope. Dare to let grief shape and mold you and get rid of bits of yourself that no longer serve you.
All the best!
