Did you know that every person is beautiful? Every person has depths unknown to others and sometimes unknown to self. Humans are beautiful in their own right. Moving, breathing, laughing, loving, crying. I think one of the most beautiful sights is to see a human acting naturally ~ without airs, fears, or prejudice. Life often dims our beauty and people who are not free try to shove us in a box.
Today, I want to encourage you to find your safe place and in the calm of that place, discover who you truly are inside ~ beauty, talents, fears, wounds, every part of yourself.
Here are a few thoughts to guide you along your path of self discovery:
-You are not the sum of your mistakes. Every human grows through experience. Experiences equal growth and growth leads to greater satisfaction.
-Don’t buy the crap that others sell. When people put you down, know that their negative views are about them.
-Work through your difficult life experiences and comfort your child self. It is difficult when caregivers, teachers, medical professionals, and so on try to squash your beauty and needs.
-Approach life from an attitude of gratitude. It’s part of the human experience to want more. However, being thankful for what you have now, even during the most trying times, yields abundance.
-Distance yourself from toxic people. Particularly, people who present with warped behaviors and reactions. People can only meet you where they are. Know that the small mindedness of others will bring you down if you do not work to preserve your mind and beauty.
-Dream big. Make a treasure map/dream board. The sky is already the limit for you. Trust your beauty, be open to growth, and embrace the abundance you have been given.
-Love yourself completely ~ the good, bad, and ugly. If you don’t love yourself, you will not be able to love your life or others.
All the best!
